Provide frontline support to women and children in our refuge. Conduct needs assessments, develop individual action plans, facilitate access to services and advocate for survivors throughout their journey from refuge to independent living.

Lead community outreach initiatives across Lilongwe to raise awareness of domestic abuse, train community members to identify and respond to signs of abuse, and build partnerships with local organisations, churches and community leaders.

Provide child-centred support to children living in our refuge. Plan and deliver safe, enriching activities; support school enrolment and attendance; liaise with schools and welfare services; and provide a stable, caring presence for children in crisis.

Manage the day-to-day financial operations of Mary Theu Foundation. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, payroll processing, donor fund tracking, financial reporting, budget preparation and ensuring compliance with Malawian non-profit financial regulations.

Design and deliver vocational training, financial literacy and business skills workshops for women in our programmes. Help survivors build confidence, develop marketable skills and create income-generating pathways towards economic independence.

Support the fundraising team in organising events, creating online campaigns, approaching local businesses and helping at the annual Hope Gala. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in non-profit fundraising while making a direct impact.
